Thousands of kids will dive into summer at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 7, for opening day at Boises six municipal outdoor pools.
City pool addresses and hours for the city pools are:
Borah Pool, 801 Aurora. Hours: 1:30-5:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. daily.
Fairmont Pool, 7929 Northview. Hours: 1:30-5:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. daily.
Lowell Pool, 1601 N. 28th St. Hours: 1:30-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 1:30-5 p.m. Sunday.
South Pool, 921 Shoshone. Hours: 1:30-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
Natatorium and Hydrotube, 1811 Warm Springs Ave. Hours: 1:30-5:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 1:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Ivywild, 2250 Leadville. Hours: 1:30-5:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. daily.
The outdoor municipal pools are operated by the Boise Parks & Recreation Department. All pools are staffed by certified lifeguards. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool.

The City of Meridian is preparing a plan under which it will receive federal funds that will be invested in our community. The City may use these funds to revitalize neighborhoods, establish and improve community facilities and services, and expand economic opportunities, principally for low-moderate-income persons. Tammy de Weerd is asking Meridian residents, businesses community organizations, and agencies to come together to provide insight to assist in this planning process. See you there!
