Research shows that laughing is good for the health. So, why not attend a stand-up comedy with the family? Are you worried about surrounding the children with the explicit language, or are you simply not a fan of potential word choices of comedians? No worries here! Comedy Sportz Idaho is new to Boise and invites the public to attend their shows which are G-rated.
Shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Call 629-3759 for reservations. ComedySportz, the Boise Spectrum at Overland Road and Entertainment Avenue.

Colin Moss, recreation director of Meridian Parks and Recreation presented the Meridian Council a plan to purchase a 25-foot-by-14-foot inflatable movie screen along with equipment to show movies at Settlers Park. The plan passed and the movies will be scheduled to view in June through August. Candy, popcorn, and pop will also be sold. In a few months the list of the showings will be available.
