Ethanol Plant Will Open in Burley

The Pacific Ethanol,�an�ethanol plant from California will begin operation in Burley within�a year. The plant will use corn from different U.S. states and it is expected to produce 50 million gallons per year.� The leftovers of high-protein grain are expected to be sold to dairy farmers as feed.� The plant is the first fuel-grade ethanol facilities in southern Idaho and is expected to employ 40 people.

Wow! This is an exciting opportunity for the future growth of Burley and surrounding areas. I was born and raised in Burley and applaud the team behind this project in allowing it to take place. Idaho needs opportunity like these ones for future and current growth.

I'm very excited about this new company coming to Burley, ID. I actually live 1 mile away. We also have a new subdivision in the area, so our neighborhood will be busy. This company will create 40 new job for our local residents. We are very BLESSED to have this company move to Burley.
