Blurbs from The Automatic Millionaire Homeowner by David Back
Main / Blurbs from The Automatic Millionaire Homeowner by David Back Author: maricela   Created: 5/22/2007 8:51 AM
This blog will include journals of what I have learned by reading The Automatic Millionaire Homeowner by David Bach. This book includes strategies, information, and statistics on how to become a millionaire by becoming a homeowner. As I am currently learning about real estate through my career path I felt this book could be a guide for better understanding the basics or real estate. My intentions are to share the positive outcomes, encourage you to learn about what I post, and most importantly to take your first steps in becoming a homeowner. I hope you enjoy and learn from my blogs and please post your comments and ideas!

When we know that we dont have enough for a down payment or in some cases we dont have a single penny saved then discouragement for purchasing a house takes over us. As we place that idea in the back of our heads and think well come back to it in a few months or years. But the reality is, how often do we take that idea and make it become true? In most cases we will let that dream fly away.  In this case there is a solution when you dont have enough for a down payment or as mentioned no money. The answer is simple, Leverage, or as David refers to it as OPM which stands for Other Peoples Money. There are lending institutions that will help you purchase your home. There are many programs designed so people can take the opportunity of purchasing a home. Most Financial Intuitions wont lend when it comes to purchasing artwork, stamps, and collectible items but when its for a home the cards on the table are in your favor. Dont become discouraged because you have little or no down payment...
