This week was Treasure Valley Properties corporate meeting and motivation was a topic discussed at our meeting. Each team member brought their favorite motivational quote and shared it among the team. This was a great opportunity to share among our peers why we selected the quote and discussed how it has influenced our lives. We all agreed that motivation begins by stepping out of our comfort zone despite if we are surrounded by good people that we may influence, and take the time to be around those that challenge us. By becoming motivated we need to start with ourselves with having the right attitude.

Yesterday Treasure Valley Properties team took a challenge by climbing new heights. Boise Peak Fitness introduced rock climbing to the team including a belay class. A belayer is the partner on the ground who manages the ropes for the climbers safety. There was also a team building orientation that prepped the team to focus on being present minded, drawing on the team's strengths, maintaining a positive attitude, and overcoming fears. With the rock climbing introduction and team orientation the team was ready to get strapped into their gear and begin their journey. For some team members it was a matter of trusting the belayer, not becoming too frightened to reach their destination, and most importantly trusting themselves. After all of the sweat, heart-beating, and cheers the team's confidence built to a new height. The team agreed that it was an exciting and challenging experience.
