McLean, VA Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) in which the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 6.16 percent with an average 0.4 point for the week ending March 22, 2007, up from last week when it averaged 6.14 percent. Last year at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 6.32 percent.
The 15-year FRM this week averaged 5.90 percent with an average 0.4 point, up from last week when it averaged 5.88 percent. A year ago, the 15-year FRM averaged 5.97 percent.
Five-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) averaged 5.91 percent this week, with an average 0.6 point, up slightly from last week when it averaged 5.90 percent. A year ago, the 5-year ARM averaged 5.96 percent.
One-year Treasury-indexed ARMs averaged 5.40 percent this week with an average 0.7 point, down from last week when it averaged 5.42 percent. At this time last year, the 1-year ARM averaged 5.41 percent.

The 30-year fixed rate mortgage averaged 6.14 percent with an average 0.4 point for the week ending March 15, 2007. The 6.14 percent remained the same since last week. Last year the average was 6.34 percent.
The 15-year FRM this week averaged 5.88 percent with an average 0.4 point, up from last week when it averaged 5.86 percent. A year ago, the 15-year FRM averaged 5.98 percent.
Five-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) averaged 5.90 percent this week, with an average 0.6 point, unchanged from last week when it averaged 5.90 percent. A year ago, the 5-year ARM averaged 5.93 percent.
One-year Treasury-indexed ARMs averaged 5.42 percent this week with an average 0.7 point, down from last week when it averaged 5.47 percent. At this time last year, the 1-year ARM averaged 5.37 percent.

The reservations can be used in mid-April to mid-October.You can reserve some parks up to 11 months of notice. The City of Boise and Ada County Highway District (ACHD) have formed a team in working with businesses and residents in the 30th Street areas future. ACHD will be making decisions on land use, streetscapes, recreation, and much more for the City of Boise. Some of the plans include construction from State Street to Main/Fairview Couplet, bus-rapid transit service, and EstherSimplotPark and proposed White Water Park. On Tuesday, January 30, 2007 you will have the opportunity in introducing how you envision the development at Whittier Elementary (301 North 29th Street).

Boises 14th annual Valentines for AIDS exhibit/auction will begin on Thursday, February 1 at the Flying M Coffeehouse. There will be a silent auction which includes over 200 local artists works. The proceeds will go will go to an aids program named SNAP. Last year there was $26,000 raised. Help Aids awareness while buying that special gift for that special someone on Valentines Day.

The Boise City Council accepted the Terry Day Park gift. The 7-acre proposal park is near Kootenai Street and Federal Way. The plan includes two tennis courts, playground, and a community garden. The proposed location will satisfy an area that needs a new park. The park is in honor of Terry Day who was a resident of Boise and civic volunteer. You can donate to the Terry Day Park and receive a tax deductible through the Heritage Trust Fun.

If you are concerned about the hazards of lead-based paint you will now have the opportunity to learn about the risks and how to protect you and your loved ones. The City of Boise will be co-sponsoring free Lead-Safe Work Practices Training on January 26, 2007. Anyone from a realtor to a do-it-yourselfer is invited. Take the opportunity to meet Martanaze Hancock of Atrium Environmental Health Services who will be conducting the training and who has also helped clean-up the twin towers in NY and the Pentagon.
